Payment of the Funeral Cost and your expenses
Once you confirm instructions for Curtis Legal to act on behalf of the estate we will immediately arrange payment of the funeral invoice directly to the Funeral Director. We will also reimburse any out of pocket expenses you have incurred.
How are we repaid?
We administer the entire estate for you so you can relax. We understand that it can sometimes take months for us to recover sufficient funds to reimburse the payments we have made on your behalf and this is part of our service to you. There is no interest charged even when we have to wait for a property to be sold. All we ask is that you agree that we can be reimbursed when funds are available. Curtis Legal will advance the cost of the funeral on your behalf interest-free, even if there is only one property to sell.
Craig will discuss and fix these professional fees before commencing work, on your behalf. In addition, these fees will not need to be paid to Curtis Legal, until Probate is granted. Craig will deduct the fees, on completion of Probate, and forward the balance of the estate to the family.
